Breakfast for Lunch at UCC

For today, we decided to take a quick lunch at UCC.

I was craving for a breakfast dish so I went for the Ham and Cheese Hokkaido French Toast  (Php 189) with a hot White Chocolate Mocha (Php 150), while my brother decided to try the Seafood Risotto (Php 459). Dad just wanted dessert so he ordered the Halo-halo

Service was quite was quite fast for mine and kuya's dish. Dad's halo-halo took a bit longer to get served, which we found a bit weird.

So here's our orders:

The french toast wasn't anything special. It tasted like something anyone can make at home. On the bright side, I love their White Chocolate Mocha! It made use of the whipped cream as a sweetener and did not overpower the flavor of the coffee. I loved that it still had a nice bitterness to it but was very creamy.

Kuya found his dish to be just ok. I tasted the risotto and it was cooked perfectly, flavor wise, it just tasted like rice mixed with normal marinara sauce.

I wasn't able to take a picture of dad's halo-halo since we were in the middle of eating when it was served (yes, it took that long). Dad liked the ice cream, but overall, he said he would still prefer Icebergs Super Halo-halo.

I really love their coffee, but the food was just really just ok and it was on the pricey side.
